2024 WIRED Together Volunteer Application

WIRED together family camp is from:
Friday, July 12th at 5pm until Sunday, July 14th at 10am. (Volunteers arrive by 3pm)

WIRED together is a family camp for young people with life-affecting heart disease & their families. It is a place where people share similar paths and challenges. Our hope is to use this as an opportunity to encourage, educate, share good times, have fun and enjoy beautiful Lake Martin at Children’s Harbor.
Volunteers will get assignments upon check-in. You may be serving and cleaning up after meals, helping with games, setting up, or breaking down. Everyone is required to help with closing down camp at the end.
We stay in air-conditioned cabins that sleep 5 and have private bathrooms with a shared porch overlooking the lake (Harbor Lodge at Children's Harbor in Alex City). All meals, activities, classes, crafts & entertainment are included.

PLEASE NOTE THAT VOLUNTEERS SHOULD PLAN TO STAY THE ENTIRE WEEKEND UNLESS SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE. Expectations include taking part in all activities and getting to know the families & campers. It's a fun weekend, I promise!!
