Racing for Children's -- Karting Team
The Racing for Children's (RFC) concept was brought to Children's of Alabama by motorsports enthusiasts and Children's o Alabama supporters who seek to engage the motorsports community in raising funds and awareness for Children's. In 2019, RFC expanded it's racing portfolio to include go-kart racing. In the first year of the karting program, RFC was able to secure its first ever win in karts.
Racing for Children's biggest kart race of the year is the SimCraft 24 Hours of Orlando. This twice around the clock test of endurance will push both man and machine to their limits. With the race weekend set for January 31st through February 2nd, Racing for Children's will be racing to win as well as racing to find a cure for childhood cancer. Join me in making a difference in the lives of the young patients at Children's of Alabama.
