Celebrating Children's of Alabama on their 109th Birthday!
Today is the 7th anniversary of Shepherd's open heart surgery at Children's of Alabama to repair his congenital defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot.
He also had a major surgery to repair his esophagus when he was three days old and spent the first five weeks of his life in Children's NICU. Needless to say, we are so very grateful everyday to the entire Children's team for saving our infant son and so many others.
Children's helps so many young boys and girls with a variety of issues and they do so at the highest level. This year is their 109th anniversary of operations and we want to help support their continued mission by raising $109.
This is our first fun event for the summer and Shepherd has done a great job coloring a couple of pages to show you what a beautiful facility we have in Birmingham and the happiness it brings to many who find themselves in a difficult situation.
We appreciate your consideration in Shepherd's first ever fundraising event supporting a great place that saves lives and makes life better for so many children.
