Who we are: GAPSBiF is a global alliance of neurosurgeons, pediatric specialists, public health experts, and civil organizations who seek to use science-based advocacy to implement and support policy changes that will result in widespread fortification of staple foods such as grain, salt, rice, corn, and tea to reduce the global numbers of preventable Spina Bifida.

Our mission: GAPSBiF seeks to promote food fortification with folic acid to reduce preventable neural tube defects such as Spina Bifida.
